Very Unprofessional, money minded and is a rip-off

We had a horrible experience moving with this company. They took the advance money and asked for 3 day window which we provided. They said someone will call within 48-24 hours prior to pickup. No one called. I tried chasing their customer service, their dispatch and the sales person. I could never reach there dispatch and no one ever called. The sales person vanished after taking money. Never responded to any of the emails. Finally someone in customer service picked up on the second day of the window and says "you should have received the pickup call by now". I asked them who is my carrier. And they gave me the name of "A-Topps". When I researched them on BBB and other sites, I was horrified. I called BVL (Budget Van Lines) and told them about this. The sales guy said he had no idea and they will look at the issue and resolve it. I told them do not send anyone for pickup until we speak. But, no one Never came back to me. Next day of the A-Topps called in the afternoon saying the pickup will be in the evening. I asked him didn't BVL speak to , and he had no idea. I called off the pickup because my wife had to catch the flight in the evening and couldn't do the move at 5 PM. During all this the people at BVL were unreachable for the most and whenever they were in touch they said they will take a look and would vanish. I have filed a credit card dispute and awaiting my luck with the refund. I would not recommend them to anyone.

All you have to do is google: Budget Truck Rental complaints and you will see a clear picture of this company and their business practices.

Budget Van Lines service is worst. Before placing the order they will promptly reply to your call (or email) but once the shipment is made they will never return your call. I placed an order, they stopped by before two days of the shipment date and said it will take two weeks. Me & my wife called them to know the status but they never replied the call. It took more then 3 weeks to deliver. Please don't go with them, worst service.
